Early morning proceed to Karauli.

This destination is renowned for its red-stone architecture, its historically rich monuments and its temples. Far, far away, on a hilltop, you can enjoy purely indulgent living amidst the hauntingly silent ruins of the 350-year-old Ramathra Fort.

Arrive Karauli and check into Ramathra Fort.

Relax and unwind. You can also choose to take a walking tour of the village or do a trek in the old fort ruins.

Morning breakfast.

A two to three seater boat equipped with paddles and life-vests takes you into the stillness of the lake. You can watch birds, search for crocodile dens and possible crocodile sightings. Bring your binoculars and your telephoto lens.

The food at Ramathra is special! Menus favor delicious regional fare prepared carefully in the family kitchen using farm-fresh seasonal produce. Guests enjoy authentic local flavors created by traditional cooking methods.

In the evening Jeep safaris take you across the Daang to several spectacular places that are best explored on foot. Destinations include Utgir Fort at the rim of the Chambal River valley, cave temples of Ghanteshvar and Kurka, and the Chuaki gorge.

Morning breakfast and proceed to Samode.

    The prices mentioned are based on accommodations, handpicked to give the most fulfilling and enriching experience of a destination. These may change in relation with what gets added, upgraded or improved in a particular destination. We also choose the most valuable room in terms of experience in the chosen hotel, which is mostly a higher category, more private and truly represents the spirit of the place.

    We use Toyota Innovas, by default for all travel. Please check with us for upgrade to a Luxury SUV, or also for the option of the costs without transport.

    Foreign nationals are requested to bear in mind that there maybe some nominal cost additions owing to differences in entrances to monuments, wild life entry fees or other similar charges.
