Varanasi
Arrive Varanasi and transfer to your Homestay, Aashray.
The culture of Varanasi is closely associated with the holy river Ganga. The city has been a cultural centre of North India for several thousand years, and has a history that is older than most of the major world religions. In the Rigveda, the city is referred to as Kashi, the “City of Light”.
Proceed to evening arti on the river.
Farm grown, Home cooked Fresh Dinner and Overnight at Homestay.
Varanasi
Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, a ferry pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun.
Pious Hindus believe that to die in Kashi and to be cremated on banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death.
This is followed by a walk in the old lanes and by lanes where the original culture of Benaras still survives in nooks and corners. The adventurous can surely try the local flavorful food and delicacies.
Afternoon, proceed to a tour of Sarnath, the seat where Gautama Buddha gave his first sermons to his 5 disciples after his enlightenment. A visit to the Sarnath Archeological Museum to see Ashokan Lion Capital and other edits is an opportunity not to be missed.
Dinner and Overnight at Homestay.
Khajuraho
Morning breakfast.
Time at leisure. You can also ask for assistance from the hosts at your homestay if you are interesting in the local crafts and handicrafts of the city.
Later proceed to airport to board flight to Khajuraho.
The erotic carvings that swathe Khajuraho’s three groups of Unesco World Heritage Site–listed temples are among the finest temple art in the world. The Western Group of temples, in particular, contains some stunning sculptures and reflect the Chandela dynasty’s immense appreciation for art.

The prices mentioned are based on accomodations, handpicked to give the most fulfilling and enriching experience of a destination. These may change in relation with what gets added, upgraded or improved in a particular destination. We also choose the most valuable room in terms of experience in the chosen hotel, which is mostly a higher category, more private and truly represents the spirit of the place.
We use Toyota Innovas, by default for all travel. Please check with us for upgrade to a Luxury SUV, or also for the option of the costs without transport.
Foreign nationals are requested to bear in mind that there maybe some nominal cost additions owing to differences in entrances to monuments, wild life entry fees or other similar charges.
