All throughout this road trip you will be mesmerised by the heady aroma of pinewood and in summers the Rhododendron blooms will colour the mountains pink and red.

Proceed for a nature walk or just relax and unwind in this idyllic hamlet with a majestic view of the Kumaon Himalayas.
From here, on a fair weather day, one can enjoy a panoramic view of many famous peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Panchachuli, Pindari Glacier, Nandakot, Nandaghunti and Kamet.
The natural beauty of the surroundings has been a source of inspiration to great writers and artists including Rabindranath Tagore who, it is said, wrote one of his most famous works ‘Gitanjali’ from a hilltop in Ramgarh, where he lived off and on for six years. He planned to set-up Shantiniketan here, but eventually chose his home state, Bengal.
The renowned poetess Mahadevi Verma lived in Ramgarh and her home is now converted into a library of her works.

Binsar

Proceed by surface to Binsar. Arrive and check into the Estate inside the Binsar Wild Life Sanctuary.
Binsar is a fascinating spot, encircled by a a vast wildlife sanctuary, a home to many rare animals, birds and wild flowers. It is also a trekker’s paradise.
Evening trek up to the famous Zero point for the spectacular view of the Kumaon Himalayan Peaks

Dhanachuli is seldom-visited and unspoilt location surrounded by snow-capped mountains on one side and and steep green mountains on the other.
